UNCOVERED
Uncovered is a striking photography exhibition exploring the physical and emotional reality behind ballet. Through powerful black-and-white portraits of dancers, the exhibition reveals the body not as an object of perfection, but as a record of effort, resilience, and transformation.
Muscle, tension, balance, weight, exhaustion.
Every image captures a moment where strength and fragility exist at the same time. Some bodies float. Some collapse. Some confront the viewer directly.
Together, the works invite audiences to look beyond the elegance usually associated with dance and witness the raw humanity that makes it possible.
Uncovered exposes what performance is built on, discipline, trust, vulnerability, and the courage to be seen.
Inside the intimate space of Agency Gallery in Claremont, visitors are invited to slow down, look closer, and experience the body as both sculpture and story.
This is ballet stripped of illusion.
This is the body uncovered.
